Dates and duration
The 42nd international sales fair for vehicles, motorcycles, parts and reading, will take place at the BMCC in Bruges on 25 and 26 January 2025. The event is open to the public from 9:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. The organizers reserve the right at any time, either changing the date, time of opening or closing, to decide on the extension or early closure of the fair, without the participants being able to claim any compensation.
Location
BMCC, Sint-Maartensbilk 1 in Bruges, E40 — exit 8 — direction center, ‘t Zand — 150 meters from parking ‘t Zand. Exhibitor parking: one parking ticket per exhibition day is provided in the parking area under the BMCC (suitable for passenger cars) from €500.
Assignment of booths
By the fact of providing the location of the booths, the decorators will have fulfilled all their obligations to the exhibitors. It is also prohibited to sublet the assigned area of the booth to third parties. The furnishers are released from the risk for any damage or theft. Exhibitors are required to put a cardboard or paper under each car (oil spills — this cardboard is to bring your own).
Insurance
The organizers disclaim all responsibility for theft and damage caused to the booth, material or exhibits, caused by third parties or by unforeseen circumstances of any cause. Each participant is required to disconnect the battery(s) from their vehicle(s) and have a fire extinguisher on the stand. It is prohibited to start vehicles during exhibition opening hours. Participants are responsible for any accidents that may happen in their booth. The participants remain equally liable for all damages on any account, inflicted on other participants, materials for the landlord’s premises. Moreover, the furnishers are released from all responsibility and in particular that which they might incur in the application of articles 1382 et seq. of the Civil Code. Participants are responsible for accidents or damage caused during the construction or dismantling of the booth, even for those who happen to be employed by them or working on their behalf. Exhibitors undertake to obtain insurance from the recognized insurance company against all risks with waiver of recourse as lessee against the furnishers and responsible parties. However, they should submit the discharge by demand.
Participation in costs
The event will be graded according to the plan attached. The contribution depends on the selected booth and area. The summary of contributions is attached to the plan together. One electricity connection point is included at each booth. One parking ticket per exhibition day is provided in the parking area under the BMCC from €500. Prices listed do not include VAT.
Cars
Commercial booth is suitable for selling cars, motorcycles, etc.
Booths
Suitable for parts, miniatures, reading material, etc. Cars not allowed. Possibility of renting tables per 2 meters at € 25/table.
Oldtimer clubs
After consultation with the organizer, a reduced rate including discount for club members can be offered. In addition, Auto Classics also offers the possibility of holding a partner event and/or New Year’s reception for vintage car clubs.
Payment terms
The booth fee is to be deposited in advance on account number IBAN BE 14 3800 2306 7883 — BIC BBRUBEBB at ING in the name of VZW Auto Retro. Your booth will not be reserved until payment is received.
Assembly and disassembly
All material and vehicles should be brought in on Friday, 24 January, from 9am to 9pm. Disposal will take place on Sunday, 26 January, between 6pm and 10pm. All equipment and vehicles still present after 10 p.m. will be transferred by the organizers to a stall location determined by them and at the expense and risk of the registered exhibitor.
Waste
All trash must be taken by the exhibitor. It must be possible to clean the floor by mechanical sweeping, any other action to clean the floor is the responsibility of the exhibitor. The stand holder is therefore responsible for his stand space during both days of the fair and must leave it in its original condition on Sunday evening.
Special arrangements
Should the holding of the event be rendered impossible or its realization or execution be impeded, either in whole or in part, or for its total or temporary duration, and this due to unforeseeable events or reasons, the participant-exhibitors may not claim any compensation or reimbursement of sums paid, compensation or loss of profits. The furnishers are also authorized to change the terms of the regulations in connection with the above risks.
Access exhibitors
Each exhibitor/stand will receive 2 admission wristbands for both days of the fair. Also included per booth are “guest” tickets, valid as single day entry. The number is linked to the size of the booth. Entry wristbands are strictly personal and non-transferable. Any misuse will result in forfeiture of access. Additional exhibitor admission available for € 20 per wristband for both days of the fair.
Disputes
Participation in the fair implies that the exhibitor agrees to the regulations. Only the courts, competent for the judicial district of Bruges, can settle any disputes.
